Kyabram

Town, central Victoria, Australia. It is situated approximately 124 miles (200 km) north of Melbourne. The name Kyabram comes from an Aboriginal word meaning “thick forest.” The settlement grew up after the arrival of the railway line from Melbourne in 1887 and the completion of an irrigation system in 1891.
